Background Information

Altai Wildflower honey, also known as polyfloral honey, is produced by honey bees collecting their nectar from the variety of flowers growing on the slopes of the ecologically clean Altai Mountains.

This honey is truly a gift of nature, distinguished not only by its unique taste properties, but also by its numerous healing qualities.

Description

Altai Wildflower honey is one of the most fragrant kinds of honey. It melts easily in the mouth and has a light and floral flavor with a long-lasting aftertaste, and its smell reminds of fresh wildflowers and herbs.

Altai Wildflower honey is rich in ascorbic acid and other vitamins (A, B, E, H, PP), which help to activate the body’s internal reserves and to boost the immune system. It is full of amino acids, enzymes and minerals, which activate the body’s metabolism and the work of internal organs, help to stabilize the digestive tract and even to reduce weight. And the sedative and fatigue-relieving effects of honey can’t go unmentioned.

Main Uses

Doctors and beekeepers recommend using Altai honey as one of the medicines for such problems as:

  • Common cold, sore throat and other respiratory disorders;
  • Reduced function of the immune system;
  • Intestinal and liver disorders;
  • Nervous system disorders (stressful and depressive states, insomnia, mental overwork or fears);

Contraindications

  • Individual intolerance to honey and other beekeeping products;
  • Acute forms of the gastrointestinal tract disorders;
  • Heart conditions and diabetes;
  • Pregnancy, breast-feeding period and children under 3 y.o. (monofloral honey is preferable).

Side Effects

  • Allergic reactions.

Dosage

Enjoy Altai Wildflower Honey with tea or take a spoonful directly from the bottle! But be sure to consume no more than 6 teaspoons (2 tablespoons) of honey per day, as consuming too much may cause adverse effects due to its high sugar and calorie content. It is highly recommended to replace other forms of sugar with Honey and enjoy it in moderation.

Storage and Handling

Store Altai Wildflower Honey in a dry place at the temperature from -5 С to +18 С, since at a temperature of more than +20 С a significant number of nutrients begins to break down; excessive cold affects Honey in a similar way. Store Honey away from objects and products that have pronounced smells, since Honey is able to actively absorb external odors, which leads to the change in taste and the eventual spoilage. Protect from direct sunlight.

Shelf Life: 3 years. Do not use after the expiration date.
